Karen Bostock, Licensed Acupuncturist received a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience with a Minor in Music from Westmont College in Montecito, CA. She studied Acupuncture in Los Angeles and received a Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University. While in school, she participated in externships at Premiere Oncology, supporting patients throughout chemo and at Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the nation.

Karen has a particular interest in working with people who are ready to change their lives. Have you already begun to change your life by starting meditation or changing your diet? Do you want to change your life but don't know where to start? Karen might be the right acupuncturist for you.

Along with extensive post-graduate work in pediatrics, fertility, and pain, Karen has delved into the deep spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of disease studying the teachings of Jeffrey Yuen (88th generation Daoist and healing master), Kiiko Matsumoto (developer of a highly specialized palpation technique based on the teachings of her Japanese master teachers), Wang Ju-Yi (one of modern China's most respected scholars, teachers, and practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine), and Yvonne Farrell (author of Psycho-Emotional Pain and the Eight Extraordinary Vessels).

It was in one of Yvonne Farrell's classes early in Karen's acupuncture eduction that she first witnessed the magic of acupuncture. Knowing that it's possible, Karen strives for magic with each treatment she gives. While she can't make any guarantees, know that she will always do her best for you.
